I am from New Zealand and it's the same here. You join some dissident group that's supposedly about increasing New Zealand sovereignty. They'll say some true things about unchecked immigration and then one of the solutions they propose is destroying our alliance with the US, Australia and UK. Then before you know it apparently NZ sovereignty equals hating Ukraine for some reason?!? And no one seems to stop and ask what exactly does this have to do with NZ sovereignty again? These people will tell you to not trust mainstream media and then uncritically post an RT article, literally a state run media company by the Russian govt.
Would love to see you bring more attention to Ukraine from a right US perspective, they have been slandered through the mud by the dissident right and left. Putin is waging a total war against what is essentially one of the most white, christian and conservative nations in Europe. They aren't perfect, they have corruption issues but that doesn't give a country license to just bomb the shit out of them. Further more I'd argue on the whole they have in recent history been the US' greatest ally. Everyone else the US has given military aid to has been useless. Ukraine has used the aid given to them to turn America's second greatest adversary into basically a military non-factor without a single American service member being killed in the process.
Anyway, thank you for your service in helping to defend not just the US but the entire free world, global north, the west, etc.

I would disagree on only the point that we need to keep so many troops overseas. We still have forces in nations like Italy and Turkey, and many are countries where we never fought to begin with. We just station troops. It's an expensive proposition
